Rhodes Scholar; Doctoral candidate in Social Intervention at Ox

Madeleine Ballard is a Rhodes Scholar and is currently a doctoral candidate in Social Intervention (Health Policy Evaluation) at Oxford University. As Last Mile Health’s founding Frontline Health Worker Manager, Madeleine engineered the launch and expansion of its flagship community health worker program in Konobo District, Liberia. A graduate of Harvard University, she has previously worked with global health equity initiatives as diverse as the Harvard Global Health and AIDS Coalition, Peer Health Exchange, and the research team for Dr. Paul Farmer, Dr. Arthur Kleinman and Dr. Jim Kim’s textbook, Reimagining Global Health.
