Makiah Green

Writer, revolutionary.

Makiah Green is a writer, revolutionary, and activist. As a professional writer, she aspires to empower and enlighten marginalized communities through film, television and the written word.

Makiah is the co-founder of Black Book LA, a community for Black millennials in Los Angeles, and is the creator of MyPWI, an online space for students of color at predominately white universities. Makiah currently works in Hollywood at a multicultural production company, where she assists in the creative development of film, TV, and digital projects.

Makiah Green is a double graduate from the University of Southern California with a Master’s degree in Professional Writing and a B.A. in English-Creative Writing. Follow her on social media for daily musings on race, faith, and culture.
