Malik Sarwar is HSBC’s Global Head of Wealth Development, Group Wealth Management. Based in Hong Kong, Malik leads the global initiatives of developing and deploying capabilities and solutions in Wealth Management in more than twenty major markets where HSBC has a strong and growing presence. These initiatives are empowering the Bank to become a trusted advisor of its clients, enabling them to achieve their financial goals.

Malik has over 28 years of experience in the financial services field. Prior to joining HSBC in 2011, Malik has successfully developed Wealth Management franchise at top tier firms, including ADIB, Permal, Citibank and Merrill Lynch, in the US, Asia and the Middle East. He has also worked as a Senior Advisor with Bain & Company.
