Marc Boyd

California native who grew up in the rapidly expanding suburbs of San Jose during the Baby Boom. Currently working as an educator, a businessman, and freelance writer. BA Degree in Political Science from San Jose State University. 2012 Democratic Candidate for the California State Assembly in the Sierra foothill district (AD 5). Assembly campaign was endorsed by the Sacramento Bee and the Modesto Bee in the primary to finish in the top two. Also received the endorsement of the California Democratic Party and every Democratic club in the district. Author of over 50 op-eds published in major newspapers from Sacramento to Fresno and more recently in The Huffington Post.
