Marco Antonio Regil

Television host and public speaker.

Born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, Marco Antonio Regil is a proud citizen of Mexico and the US. The star of 100 Latinos Dijeron (Family Feud) airing weeknights on MundoFox, Marco is also the longstanding host of the Latino versions of such hit game shows as The Price is Right, Dancing with the Stars, Minute to Win It and Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader. Regil’s high-profile work with prominent charities is yet another factor that has endeared him to fans, helping to raise more than $500 million dollars as the award-winning host of the National Telethon for over 15 years, along with his high-profile work on behalf of Children International, an organization that helps poor children become healthy and educated. Reader's Digest presented Regil with its fifth annual "Trusted Brands" award in the category of Most Trusted Television Host , marking the second time that he has won the prestigious Reader’s Digest award which recognizes brands and public figures that generate the most trust and loyalty among Mexicans. Regil began his passion for entertainment as a child living in Tijuana, Mexico when he would sit in the backseat of his mother’s 1972 Volkswagen Beetle and “announce” Top 40 radio using the extra seat belt strap as his microphone. At 8, he entertained for family members and friends by “announcing” and playing his own pre-recorded commercials from behind closed doors, sharing only his voice through a speaker. In his teenage years, Regil further honed his craft and at 15 won a talent contest that landed him his very own radio show at a local station. Following years of hard work and dedication the ambitious youngster turned into a household name throughout Mexico as the longstanding host of hit game shows including The Price is Right, Dancing with the Stars, and Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader. After hosting 100 Latinos Dijeron (Family Feud) for Univision, Regil and the popular game show was brought to major Spanish-language network MundoFox, where he continues to attract millions of loyal viewers in the Hispanic USA market and throughout Latin America. And with Minuto Para Ganar (Minute to Win It) and 100 Latinos Dijeron, Regil is the only Mexican television host to have Spanish language game shows airing in both the U.S. and Mexico concurrently. Regil has also taken his talents to the big screen as a voice actor. Recent credits include MegaMind (Spanish) and Rio 2 (English). A proud vegan, Regil will be honored this fall as the 2015 PETA Humanitarian of the Year. His vegan lifestyle philosophies have been chronicled in a number of major vegan media. Regil’s passion for people is exemplified by his many conferences and workshops where he focuses on such critical areas as financial education and leadership – all designed to enhance the personal and entrepreneurial skills of men and women nationwide.
