Marco Nuñez has strived to advance social justice causes for over 16 years. Specializing in immigrant and labor rights, he began organizing with predominantly immigrant workers in Omaha, Nebraska, in the meatpacking industry. Thereafter, he has organized in Denver, CO, alongside janitors, day laborers, and immigrant students and parents to advance labor and educational rights. He currently serves as the Worker Justice Coordinator for EL CENTRO de Igualday y Derechos in Albuquerque, NM.
