Margaret Hession

Margaret Hession has worked in the realm of politics, education, teaching, and writing her entire life. Margaret taught English Literature and Writing at Hunter College, City University of New York. She taught English Literature, Writing and Special Needs at Akins High-school in Austin, Texas. Margaret is a former political lobbyist and political campaigner/event director/fundraiser who lived in New York City, and Washington, D.C. for multiple years, and who now currently resides in Austin, Texas. Margaret is also a single-mother to two young children with abounding energy. (Liam was diagnosed with autism at an early age.) Margaret is originally from the West of Ireland and emigrated to New York City when she was seventeen-years-old. She has won numerous writing awards.
