Margueritte W. Ramos is founder and president of ShadeFLA, Inc, located in Miami, FL. Ramos received a BA in Political Science from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and worked as a political consultant for nearly 20 years before breaking into the shade structure industry in 2005. A native Miamian, Ramos is known for her extensive community involvement including chairing the Mayor’s North Beach Master Plan Committee in Miami Beach. Ramos’s company, ShadeFLA, provides bold and artistic designs for tension shade sails and retractable roofs engineered and installed for outdoor living. Recent projects include Regalia Condominium Miami, The Standard Hotel & Spa Miami Beach, The Loews Hotel Miami Beach, and many more.
