Maria Ehsan was elected as a National Delegate from Washington state to the 2012 DNC Convention in Charlotte. Born in Washington state, she has been active on political campaigns since she was old enough to vote.<br /> <br /> She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and BA in Political Science from the University of Washington. While a student, she was a US Senate intern for Al Gore. She has worked for the federal government and the private sector. Currently, she is a marketing professional in Seattle. Her previous experience includes investment banking in New York, and serving in the Clinton-Gore administration and Presidential Inaugural Committee in DC, and Clinton Campaign Staff in Arkansas. She was also a Fellow with the Institute for a Democratic Future. In 2008 she led GOTV operations and 50 volunteers in southern Indiana for Obama-Biden. In 2012 she led the presidential precinct caucuses in her area, and serves as a Precinct Committee Organizer. She remains active in local civic, business, and arts organizations.
