Maria Brito is a Harvard grad, award-winning, New York-based curator and art advisor, creative designer, product designer, book author and writer. She is the CEO and creative force behind Maria Brito, LLC, a multidisciplinary platform that integrates contemporary art, design and fashion. In 2013, her monograph, “Out There: Design, Art, Travel, Shopping” (Pointed Leaf Press) became an Amazon Best Seller for 12 weeks and the winner of the USA Best Book Awards in the Art and Design Categories. In 2015 Maria was selected by Complex Magazine as one of the 20 Power Players in the Art World. In 2016, Maria curated and installed the first show to have ever happened in Greece comprised solely of New York artists. “Greek Gotham” was presented at Dio Horia in Mykonos and was accompanied by a full-color catalogue written and designed by Maria with an introduction by Jeffrey Deitch.
