I'm Mariam; an eternal expat who 15 years, 7 countries and 3 continents later, has become a seasoned expert at getting lost in every new city I call home and butchering words in every new foreign language that I learn along the way. My two kids were born in different countries, my husband and I hail from three others countries and this is why the most complicated question you can ask my family is “where are you from?”. Most of my answers include the phrase “and then we moved to…” (insert different random country) so I decided to blog about it – you know, lest I forget myself one day.
