Marianne Angelo

While going through treatment for Breast Cancer, I was able to import my experience as a creative director from the world of design, advertising and architecture in effort to improve the conversation around my own surgeries brought on by Breast Cancer. I created a series of pre-visualized examples projecting my expectations and brought these examples into meetings with my surgical team prior to surgery. This helped me manage my expectations, reinforced that the plastic surgeon and I were on the same page and helped dissipate the anxiety around future surgical phases.
