Three decades ago, Marie Ohanesian Nardin fell in love with a man and a city and left her native city of Los Angeles, California, to live in Venice, Italy. Since then, the former banker has raised two children, restored a two hundred year old home, worked on and been part of political campaigns in both Italy and the U.S.A., taught English and, most recently, written her first women's fiction, "Beneath the Lion's Wings" which will be published in February 2018.
