Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Hong Kierkegaard Library, also a boxing trainer and award winning boxing writer

Gordon Marino took his doctorate from the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago. Marino is editor of THE QUOTABLE KIERKEGAARD (Princeton University Press), ETHICS: THE ESSENTIAL WRITINGS (Random House), EXISTENTIALISM: BASIC WRITINGS (Random House). Marino's essays have appeared in among other venues, THE ATLANTIC, THE NEW YORK TIMES MAGAZINE, THE NEW YORK TIMES, NEWSWEEK. In addition, he is a regular contributor to the WALL STREET JOURNAL. Former head coach of boxing at V.M.I, Marino has been training professional and amateur fighters for 30 years. He is also an award winning boxing writer for the WALL STREET JOURNAL and RING MAGAZINE.
