Marissa Nuncio is the Director of the Garment Worker Center(GWC) in Los Angeles, California. The GWC organizes with low-wage garment workers in the fight for economic justice and improved working conditions in local factories. She has been an advocate for worker rights for over 15 years, including as a labor and employment attorney. She is a Ms. Foundation Public Voices Fellow with the Op-Ed Project.
