Ever since I can remember, I have always been curious: always discovering and tinkering. That led me to a career in medicine, and ultimately to life as an entrepreneur and inventor. I’m currently most interested in how we shall prosper in a world impacted increasingly from the acceleration of technology. To that end, I envision the development of a new 'phronesis'-- the word in ancient Greek meaning “practical wisdom”. And I look forward to a new, more organic, educational paradigm that understands that human endeavor bridges the spectrum of scholar to tinkerer, and artisan to thinker.
