Mark A. O'Brien

President of North America for DDB Worldwide

Mark first joined the DDB network in 1994, and in his various roles and the 17 years since, he has spearheaded many firsts for the agency and the industry. One of his favorite roles is the one he played in laying out the blueprint for formally establishing Tribal DDB in 1998, which, revolutionary at the time, remains ten years later one of the most awarded and influential digital agencies. In 2001 Mark became CFO of DDB North America and Asia Pacific, where he helped to quickly develop and establish DDB as a major player in the Asia Pacific region, and after eight years of commuting between New York and Asia Pacific, Mark assumed the role of COO in 2009. Last year, Mark took on his current role: President of DDB North America.
