Mark G. Popovich is a Hitachi Foundation vice president of program where he is part of team committed to discovering and spreading the adoption of employer practices that generate large earnings gains and career advancement for lower-wage workers while also meeting business goals. Before entering philanthropy more than a decade ago, he worked for elected state and federal officials and had a career in public policy research and development across a range of issues. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and daughter.
