Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, Hawaii's 1st congressional district
Mark Takai is an American politician from the state of Hawaii. He is a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing the 33rd district, as a Democrat. He previously represented the 34th district, from 1994 until 2012.
Mark is from Aiea, Hawaii. He serves in the Hawaii Army National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel and took part in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2009.
Mark is running for the United States House of Representatives for Hawaii's 1st congressional district in the 2014 elections, following incumbent Colleen Hanabusa's decision to run for the United States Senate.
