Marlaina Schiavo is a Producer, Comedian, and Writer with a 20-year career in news and entertainment. After Marlaina was crowned NY’s Funniest Reporter in 2011, she went on to write, create and host a pilot series called Reality Check for Logo’s web platform NewNowNext.com. In this, she dishes out her take on the world of reality TV with every ounce of her biting honesty and undying sarcasm. As former Senior Producer for CNN/HLN, she spent several years working under the deadline of a daily live show as well as in front of the camera, delivering live on-air reporting for breaking news stories. In addition to CNN and HLN, Marlaina has appeared on Fox, Fox Business Network, MTV’s Logo, Us Weekly digital and is a frequent radio guest on AM970. Marlaina is a mom of two and writes a comedy blog called NY Momic.
