Marlene H. Phillips

Marlene H. Phillips is a published writer with a professional background in corporate and not-for-profit communications. Her interest in politics is a result of her upbringing in a politically active environment; her father, Hy Friedman, was a labor union organizer and lifelong progressive activist, and Marlene marched and campaigned beside him from the time she could walk. Originally from New York City, she has lived in six states and three countries, currently making her home in Oro Valley Arizona, a suburb of Tucson.
