Matthew Kourie

Matt Kourie is the co-founder of The New York Best Wings Festival Championships and the NY Cocktail Expo, the premier cocktail and spirit exhibition in eastern New York. Kourie has become a master wing hunter, food-eater and libation lover. He is also known for his comical and energetic on screen and event hosting persona. While a musician and producer by trade, Kourie scouts for smoked BBQ, cocktails, pizza, tapas and tasty treats while also conjuring up his own unique food and cocktail recipes. At a young age, Kourie was introduced to a world of International flavors by his Lebanese and Italian families, which is where his passion for food and exploration derive from. Kourie has been seen on FOX News, featured in Time Out NY Magazine, News12, Newsday, FIOS TV and more. He has been a featured judge for numerous wing & food festivals, including the NYC Hot Sauce Expo, The Bacon & Beer Classic, The National Buffalo Wing Festival and many more. Though he has called both California and New York home, he currently resides on Long Island.
