Matt Kasper is Energy and Policy Institute’s Research Director. He focuses on defending policies that further the development of renewable energy by exposing the misinformation and attacks made by fossil fuel and utility interests. Prior to joining EPI, Matt was a research assistant for the Energy and Environment Policy Team at the Center for American Progress. He worked on state and local policy issues. He also authored articles for ThinkProgress. Matt graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Butler University in Indianapolis. He now lives in Chicago after working in Washington D.C. for four years.
