Matthew Mitchell is from Vancouver and currently is a student in the Master’s Degree Program in Media and Global Communication at the University of Helsinki. He is running marathons to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Research. In his thesis Matthew is researching the potential power and influence individuals have through new media to affect social change.
