Matthew Kohut

Co-founder, KNP Communications

Matthew Kohut, a co-founder of KNP Communications, has twenty years of professional experience writing and preparing speakers for both general and expert audiences. In addition to conducting media and public speaking trainings with KNP, he has served as a communications consultant to organizations including NASA, the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and Harvard University. He is also currently a Fellow at the Center for the Advancement of Public Action at Bennington College. He previously worked at Harvard University as Research Specialist to the Dean of the Kennedy School, serving as Professor Joseph Nye's speechwriter and researcher. Matt holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. from the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to his career in communications, he worked for several years as a professional bassist, touring the United States and Europe with numerous pop music acts.
