Maura McCarthy

Maura McCarthy co-founded Blu Homes because of a deep interest in reducing the carbon footprint of American homes, and making home buying a more fun and convenient experience. Maura is a board member of The Capital Network, a nonprofit focused on providing mentorship and financing help to startup entrepreneurs, and is a board observer on ISIS, the leading provider of active apparel focused solely on women. She is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Renewable Energy Business Network. Maura, who received a BA from Georgetown University, has generated national and local media attention for her pioneering work with Blu, including a recent profile in Forbes magazine.
