Melanie Hope Greenberg

Native New Yorker and published author and illustrator of children’s picture books, including "Mermaids On Parade"; artist for Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art's first National Endowment for the Arts grant, as well as an artist for UNICEF and the Children's Defense Fund. Melanie's books have won awards, been on notable, honor, and library reading lists, and selected as a New York Times Great Children's Read. In addition to having an award winning blog which focuses on children's literature, Melanie sells her original art, teaches picture book writing, illustrating, and marketing workshops for hopeful and published writers and artists at conferences, libraries, and museums, as well as presents elementary school programs for young students.
