Melanie is a rising 3L at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she currently serves as the Executive Editor for Cardozo's Journal of Conflict Resolution, the Research Assistant for Versa: The Israeli Supreme Court English Language Repository, and the Founder and President of a chapter of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights under Law. She has worked at places ranging from the New York City Department of Investigation in reference to Rikers Island, to the New York State Office of the Attorney General, to the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Maryland, Northern Division (Baltimore), and the Manhattan DA's Office. She hopes to become a prosecutor, specifically to fight terror through financial investigations and prosecutions, but plans to continue being active in her community, either by volunteering and teaching Paint Nite for charity, or otherwise.
