Melissa Vale is a writer, blogger, and philanthropist in New York City. The New York native took a liking to the arts at an early age when she began her career as a professional actress. At the age of 9, she appeared on Broadway in a lead role in Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs." Since then, she has managed to keep herself busy with countless acting, fashion, philanthropic, and writing projects. She has been an active contributor to The Huffington Post for nearly a decade, and currently works in luxury sales and rentals at Douglas Elliman. She graduated from Princeton and Harvard Law School.
