Celebrity chef, television host, author, and mom of four young daughters Melissa d’Arabian embodies affordable family home cooking at its finest. With an MBA from Georgetown University, Melissa enjoyed a successful career in corporate finance and strategy before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Passionate about sharing her tried-and-true recipes and money-saving tactics, Melissa then competed on and won season five of “The Next Food Network Star” and is now well known as the host of Food Network’s "Ten Dollar Dinners" and Cooking Channel’s "Drop 5 Lbs. with Good Housekeeping." Her newest projects include a FoodNetwork.com web-exclusive series, “The Picky Eaters Project: Melissa’s Mealtime Redesign," and serving as a regular judge on primetime Food Network competition series, “Guy’s Grocery Games.” Her “Ten Dollar Dinners” cookbook debuted in August 2012 as a New York Times bestseller, and she is also a contributing writer for Food Network's FN DISH blog.
