My nine-to-five career, which ended when my second child was born, involved a variety of writing and marketing jobs with Redbook magazine, Scholastic, Inc. and a major public relations agency. In the intervening years I have written, in a volunteer capacity, countless news articles, brochures, annual reports, histories and scripts. I am graduate of Denison University and receive a master's degree in journalism from the University of Iowa. I have two children and two grandchildren and presently live in Cashiers, NC.
