Meredith Hutchison

Meredith Hutchison is a NYC-based freelance photographer, writer, and consultant working to promote local media growth and better advocacy practices worldwide. She has worked at the intersection of media, governance and development in North and Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and in the U.S. Meredith holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Pittsburgh. Meredith currently acts as the director of the Vision not Victim Project, working with women of the Democratic Republic of Congo to redefine the types of images used in advocacy.
