I'm a retired health care professional working part time as a freelance writer. I created The Breastfeeding Corner, currently being published in The Miami Times & the Monroe Free Press. I have three grown children who I breastfed while practicing attachment style parenting and sharing the family bed. I was employed by the Florida Department of Health, WIC and Nutrition Breastfeeding Program from 1998 to 2012 and have worked as an internationally board certified lactation consultant since 2002. I also earned a master's degree in Health & Wellness, with a specialization in lactation in 2009.
