MICHAEL CASEY is a managing editor covering global financial markets at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal. He writes the “FX Horizons” column that appears weekly in the Wall Street Journal Online, MarketWatch and SmartMoney.com and which deals with foreign exchange markets and global financial and political affairs. He is a regular commentator on The Wall Street Journal's News Hub and a frequent guest on the Fox Business Network. A native of Perth, Western Australia, Casey has traveled widely in a twenty-year career that has included stints as a journalist in Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Argentina and the United States. He is also the author of Che’s Afterlife: The Legacy of an Image, which was chosen by New York Times' critic Michiko Kakutani as one of her Top Ten picks of 2009. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Pelham, NY.
