Michael DeSa

Mike is a travel journalist, husband, father to three rambunctious boys, and a former U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer. After nearly 7 years of service and a combat deployment to Afghanistan, Michael and his family decided it was time to walk a different path. Michael launched his writing career with an article appearing in the Marine Corps Gazette. This year their family of five will leave everything behind and depart on a trip across South America, visiting 7 countries in 7 months.
