Michael G. Bennett is a Associate Professor of Law at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Professor Bennett teaches in the fields of contracts, intellectual property law, and law and technology. His National Science Foundation funded research focuses primarily on the nexus of law and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on nanotechnology. Professor Bennett also advises academic institutions on matters related to the generation of intellectual property, technology transfer and plagiarism.

Professor Bennett has taught at Vassar College, Michigan Technological University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the University of Virginia and Florida A&M University. After graduating from Harvard Law School, he practiced as an associate at the Chicago law firm of Brinks, Hofer, Gilson and Lione.
