Michael Hansen

Michael Hansen is an experienced marketing professional, entrepreneur, LGBTQ rights activist and founder of One Alabama. Born and raised in Memphis, Tenn., he has lived in Alabama since 2008. Michael has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from The University of Memphis and a master’s degree from The University of Alabama. He has nearly a decade of experience in business management and strategic marketing communications.

Michael is an avid foodie and a wannabe chef during his free time. He is passionate about politics, food, public policy, current events and social media. When not working or cooking, he spends time with his two dogs: a rambunctious French Bulldog (Vandiver) and an adorable terrier mix rescue (Bueller).
