Michael J. Hinz is vice president of driver recruiting for Schneider National, Inc., a premier provider of transportation, logistics and intermodal services that is part of City Colleges of Chicago’s College to Careers initiative. Hinz oversees all driver recruitment for Schneider, one of the nation’s largest truckload carriers.
Prior to joining Schneider in 1995, Hinz was an artillery officer in the United States Army, serving in various leadership positions in North America and overseas. Hinz, who recently retired from the U.S. Army Reserve after 24 years of service, holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University in Marquette.
