Founder of BookNook & advocate for child literacy

Michael Lombardo created BookNook because he believes that integrating technology with proven educational strategies is the best way to improve student learning at scale. He previously served as CEO of Reading Partners, the largest children’s literacy nonprofit in the United States, which he grew from a small startup to a national leader in its field. Michael also serves as a Social Entrepreneur in Residence at Stanford University and is a founding Advisory Council member of the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, President Barack Obama’s signature initiative focused on supporting boys and young men of color.
