Michael Meehan

President and CEO, Carbonetworks

Michael Meehan is Carbonetworks' President & CEO and is responsible for the company's operational and strategic direction. As one of the company founders he created the Carbonetworks concept and was originally the primary architect of the network. Michael's professional history spans 14 years in software, including senior roles in product management, marketing and technology development. Prior to joining Carbonetworks Michael held senior positions in systems management and software service vendors, and also founded the Climate Resource, an online climate change information provider.

The Carbonetworks Performance Management Platform provides software and services to help companies around the world run their Energy, GHG and Sustainability initiatives using a consolidated corporate scorecard for measuring performance. The company has over a decade of experience in the industry and was founded with the goal of enabling companies all over the world to manage and reduce their impact on the environment. With nearly 8,000 sites implemented on its platform and hundreds of companies in over 40 countries in its trading community, Carbonetworks operates the largest carbon management network in the world.
