Michele Gruba, I am married and a stay at home mom with 3 kids 8, 5, 3 years old. We live in Illinois aka the land of Rauner cuts. My oldest son is autistic and through my experiences navigating our educational system with him I became passionate about early intervention, special education and advocating for equal education for children. I also volunteer at school and for an animal rescue when I can. I helped to found a parents group called PASS Parents Advocating for Students and Staff in my community, although I am no longer on the board for PASS I fully support this amazing group of parents and their commitment to education. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, music and movies
