Michelle Boachieansah Norton

I was born and raised in the Bronx to Ghanaian and Antiguan parents. My rich cultural background has contributed to my perspective lens and allowed me to express those ideas in my writing. I have a degree in Creative Writing from Hofstra University, and continue to use my talents to delve into societal issues. I've assisted in building a church and school in Behenase, Ghana. I am also heir to the royal family in the village of Offinso, Ghana (My grandmother was the QueenMother). Writing is my passion and my action. I enjoy traveling and plan to experience as much of the world as possible. I currently reside in New York City.
