Michelle Wein

Trade Policy Analyst, Information Technology and Innovation Foundation

Michelle Wein is ITIF’s Trade Policy Analyst, specializing in the connections between international trade, innovation, intellectual property and economic productivity. Her work has been featured in PC Magazine, The Hill, Politico and Inside U.S. Trade, among others. Prior to joining ITIF, Michelle worked on intellectual property policy at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and the U.S. Department of State. She also spent four months studying European Union governance challenges in Berlin, Germany. Michelle holds a Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelors of Science with Honors in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
