Micki Krimmel is the founder of NeighborGoods.net, a community where you can save and earn money by sharing stuff with your neighbors.
Micki (aka Mickipedia) is well known on the web for her work in online community development and her popular blog and videos. Micki's videoblog has been viewed millions of times across the web.
Previously, Micki worked as Director of Community for Revver.com. She also built and managed the interactive department at Participant Productions, a media company founded with the mission to engage audiences in movements for social change. While at Participant, Micki created the company’s first online activist community and led the social media efforts for Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth as well as Participant’s other award-winning films.
Micki has appeared in countless online and print publications including SXSW World, .net Magazine and Wired Magazine. She is currently featured as an entrepreneur in the November issue of Oprah Magazine.
Additionally, Micki is an all-star roller derby skater with the LA Derby Dolls.
