Industrial-Organizational Psychologist and Senior Principal Researcher at SAP SuccessFactors

Dr. Gabriela (Gabby) Burlacu is a senior principal researcher on the Human Capital Management Research team within the HCM Strategy group at SAP SuccessFactors. The primary focus of her work is identifying how HCM methods support different forms of business strategies, improving the accuracy and impact of talent management processes and decisions, and developing ways that companies can effectively support the needs of increasingly diverse workforces. Gabby currently leads the SAP SuccessFactors “Business Beyond Bias” initiative, collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop and position SAP SuccessFactors solutions as tools that enable workforce equity, diversity and inclusion for customers. An Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, Gabby actively collaborates with academic thought leaders and her work has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and academic books. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Portland State University where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in business and human resource management.
