Author, Run Like a Girl: How Strong Women Make Happy Lives

MINA SAMUELS is a full-time writer, editor and performance artist, and in a previous incarnation, a litigation lawyer and human rights advocate. She has written and performed two one-woman shows, which have participated in numerous theatre festivals. Do You Know Me?, which won Best Drama at United Solo 2015 and Hazards, which won Best Avant-Garde at United Solo 2013. She has published two non-fiction books, Run Like a Girl: How Strong Women Make Happy Lives, Seal Press 2011 (for which she appeared on the Today Show) and The Think Big Manifesto, co-authored with Michael Port, John Wiley & Sons 2009 (New York Times Bestseller); as well as a novel, The Queen of Cups, Unlimited Publishing 2007.
