Ming Thein is a commercial photographer, writer and photographic instructor. He's based in Kuala Lumpur but works internationally, specializing in watches, location photography and corporate reportage, with clients including Nissan, Jaeger Le-Coultre, Van Cleef & Arpels, Richemont, Philips, Hijjas Kasturi Architects, Tange Associates Architects, Maybank, Eastern & Oriental, Sunway Group, the City of London, Moon Travel Guides and several Michelin star chefs. He graduated from Oxford University at 16, left a senior post in the world of private equity and strategy to shoot the things he's passionate about, because he believes that life's too short to do something you don't enjoy, and a deeper understanding of one's subject matter results in unique images.
