Matthijs Kronemeijer

Matthijs Kronemeijer was born in the Netherlands and has been living in the U.S. since 2014. He is currently a PhD student in Political Science at Michigan State University in East Lansing, with a focus on Comparative Politics and Political Philosophy. Before coming to Michigan, Matthijs was employed as a Roman Catholic lay theologian at the Military Chaplaincy office in the Dutch Ministry of Defence. His academic training up to 2005 was in the areas of Catholic theology (mostly biblical studies), Jewish Studies, and Arabic Language and Culture. His wife Brenda is an ordained Christian Reformed campus minister.
