Morgan Courtney

Design thinker + foreign policy/international development practitioner working for social impact.

Morgan Courtney is a design thinker and practitioner who has spent over a decade in international security, conflict, and development. She is passionate about bringing people together to design, innovate, and partner to achieve greater social impact. Morgan has worked for the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the United Nations, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Her international experience spans East and Southeast Asia, East Africa, and Afghanistan.

Morgan serves on the Board of Advisors of the University of Virginia's Batten School for Leadership and Public Policy. She is a CNAS Next Generation Fellow and an FPI Future Leader, and is a graduate of Wellesley College and Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs.
