Joseph Anthony is one of the nations foremost Millennial marketing experts. A New York based entrepreneur, Anthony has been transforming the tools and techniques of marketing and brand imaging since he was 23 years old. Anthony, at the time a recent graduate of Boston University and working at the New York Times, was asked to give an impromptu presentation on youth marketing trends to executives at J. Walter Thompson. This successful lunch break meeting so impressed senior management that Anthony was offered a monthly retainer on the spot. Anthony duplicated his success as a consultant for JWT by landing several other prominent accounts including but not limited to; Tommy Hilfiger, DC Comics, Coca Cola, Steve Madden and Nike. The momentum and success of these projects gave Anthony the vision to form a full service marketing agency. In the winter of 2000, Anthony launched a full service marketing agency, VITAL Marketing, with a specializing in helping brands target young consumers. Since launching VITAL Marketing, Anthony has been personally responsible for generating over 150 Million dollars in revenue. At the age of 29, Anthony was the youngest owner of an agency ever to be awarded a piece of the US Army’s marketing contract; a contract that he held for over 8 years. As of recent, Anthony has launched his a new agency and media concept, Hero Group (www.herogrp.com). Hero Group is a full service Millennial marketing agency specializing in creative, digital and brand strategy. Hero's vision is to help brands build their business by defining their broader social purpose and then inspiring and empowering Millennials to participate in driving that purpose forward.
